Therapy
"Do not look behind you. Do not regret mistakes, but be thankful for every experience, however painful, which has helped you to gain a clearer understanding."
A more comprehensive explanation of energy healing is that of a process whereby the centring of the healer becomes the core to physical, mental and spiritual changes within the patient. There is no requirement for any belief system on the part of the patient. The process simply requires them to relax and accept the flow of energies through the healer, observing any changes they may feel during their healing session.
The passing of these subtle energies, as yet undefined, by the healer to the patient is through the ability of focussed intent. The aim of this is to bring about a balance within the energy systems of the body whereby the result can be experienced mentally, physically and spiritually. Healing aims to treat the patient, not the illness – to bring them back from pain, despair and dis-ease into a state where they can more fully live with their present health limitations. Healing is not curing, although sometimes, because we do not know the mysteries of all the body’s systems, cures do occur. It does, however, encourage the patient’s own healing system to return to that state of homeostasis (balance) where beneficial changes within their mental, physical and spiritual dimensions begin to take place.
Energy healing is gentle, relaxing and a very pleasant experience for the patient. It can reduce pain, accelerate wound recovery and lighten the mind.
All healers accept that the healing energies come from a central source, be that God, Cosmic Intelligence, Universal Life Force, etc and is channeled through the healer by their focusing on purposeful intent and human empathy.
Healing is a natural energy therapy. It complements conventional medicine by treating the whole person - mind, body and spirit. Healers act as a conduit for healing energy, often described as 'love and light' which relaxes the body, releases tensions and stimulates self-healing. The benefits of healing can be felt on many levels, not just the physical, and the effects can be profound.
Energy healing is about treating the whole person. It energises body, mind and spirit and so its effects can be felt on many levels, not just the physical.
It is not Faith Healing, because the recipient has no need to believe in a deity or a religion. Faith by the patient is not required and healing can help people regardless of their religious beliefs.
The healing energy is all around us. In essence it is 'universal' - part of nature itself. It is available for everyone to use for the greatest good. Healers learn to use their ability to tap into this natural energy and pass it on.
To become a Healer within the Universal Healing Group requires the completion of a two-year comprehensive programme of training, practise and development as a Student Healer before they are eligible to be considered for Full Healer Membership. All healers are trained up to UK Nationally recognised standards and are insured for the protection of the public.
Members of the Universal Healing Group are bound by a Code of Practice which sets standards for practising healer members and which acts as a reference on those standards for the public good.
